Here, we’ve listed all the available restrictions along with their most common use cases. This should help you identify what you’re looking for and guide you in choosing the appropriate restrictions for your specific scenario.
At the bottom of the page, you’ll also find a quick overview of how to set up a restriction.
-
available from to date
- You can set a date period it would show the option
- Application: If you want to introduce a seasonal option, you can set a specific date range for when it will be available for booking.
-
max book ahead
- Set the period customers can book ahead an option, you can choose the Unit e.g. hour, day, week, month, year
- Application: If you have a high-demand option that fills up quickly, you may want to restrict how far in advance customers can book it. For example, you might allow bookings only one day ahead instead of following the general range settings.
-
max book ahead if no perk
- Same as before only this time you can have different unit set up if the customer hasn`t got a perk like a membership
- Application: This works the same way as "Max Book Ahead," but allows you to set different limits for customers without a membership or perk. For instance, non-members may only book one day in advance, while members can book two days ahead.
-
max concurrency
- The amount of bookings of this specific option that can be booked at any one time.
- Application: If you have a coach who can only be in one place at a time, this setting ensures that only one booking for their services can be made at a time.
-
max concurrency for user with perk
- Same as before only this time you can have different unit set up if the customer has perks like a membership
- Application: If you have a large venue, you can control how many bays a member can book at once. For example, a member might be allowed to book multiple bays simultaneously.
-
max concurrency for user without perk
- Same as before only this time you can have different unit set up if the customer hasn`t got a perk like a membership
- Application: Similar to the previous setting, but applied to non-members. You can limit how many bays a non-member can book at one time to ensure fair access.
-
max in calendar period
- State the maximum amount of times one customer can book this option within a specified time period. You can choose the Unit e.g. hour, day, week, month, year and the amount of uses.
- Application: Ideal for membership setups that include a limited number of free hours per period. For example, a member might receive 4 free hours per month, ensuring controlled usage.
-
max in rolling days
- Once one booking has been made the rolling day timer will start. You can select an amount of uses within a rolling period.
- Application: When a customer makes a booking, a rolling day counter starts, restricting how many times they can book within that period.
-
max upcoming bookings
- How many bookings you can have all together in one time in the future
- Application: This prevents customers from holding too many future bookings at once. For example, if you want to limit a customer to having only three active future bookings at any given time, this setting will enforce it.
-
min book ahead if no perk
- Set the period customers can book ahead an option if they haven`t got perk assign to them, you can choose the Unit e.g. hour, day, week, month, year
- Application: Useful for managing memberships by restricting how soon non-members can book. For instance, non-members might only be able to book at least 12 hours in advance, while members can book sooner.
-
min book ahead if perk
- Set the period customers can book ahead an option if they got perk assign to them, you can choose the Unit e.g. hour, day, week, month, year
- Application: Similar to the previous setting but applied to members. For example, members may only need to book 4 hours in advance, while non-members must book at least 12 hours ahead.
-
not requires date
- Specify a date for the option not to show.
- Application: Use this setting if you want to prevent an option from being available on a specific date. For example, if a certain service should not be available on public holidays, you can exclude it on those days.
-
not requires day of week time
- Specify a day of the week and time for the bay option not to show.
- Application: If you want to hide an option on specific days and times, this setting allows you to do so. For example, if a bay is unavailable every Monday from 10 AM to 2 PM for maintenance, you can set this restriction.
-
not requires perk
- If you want a customer with a specific perk to not view a specific option e.g. non-member options.
- Application: This setting ensures that customers with a specific perk do not see a particular option. For instance, if you have non-member pricing options, you can hide them from members so they only see their exclusive rates.
-
requires balance
- if the customer have balance on his account
- Application: This setting ensures that a customer must have a balance on their account to book the option. For example, if a customer needs prepaid credit to access a certain service, they won’t be able to book unless they have sufficient funds in their account.
-
requires date
- Specify a date for the option to show.
- Application: Use this to make an option available only on a specific date. For example, if you are running a one-day special event or promotional booking, you can ensure it only appears on that day.
-
requires day of week time
- Specify a day and time for the bay option to show.
- Application: This setting allows you to make an option available only on specific days and times. For example, if a discounted rate is only available on Tuesdays between 3 PM and 6 PM, you can configure it here.
-
requires perk
- If you want a customer with a specific perk to view a specific option e.g. members only options
- Application: If you want to restrict an option to customers with a specific perk, this setting ensures only they can see it. For example, if you have an option exclusive to members, non-members won’t see it in their booking choices.
-
requires minute value
- Enable bookings only on the hour or on the half hour. Enter 0 for bookings on the hour and 30 for bookings only on the half hour.
- Application: This setting ensures that bookings can only be made at specific intervals, such as on the hour or half-hour. For example, if you want all bookings to start only at 12:00, 12:30, 1:00, etc., you can enter 0 for the hour or 30 for the half-hour.
