Adding Custom Line item

In this short guide, we will walk you through how to add custom line items using the keypad on your POS screen.

Overview

The POS screen includes a keypad located at the top right corner, designed for adding custom line items. The process is straightforward:

1. Enter a Name: Use the keypad to name the custom item.
2. Set a Price: Input the price for the item.
3. Apply a Tax: Assign the applicable tax to the item.

Once you click on it it will bring up the Keypad

• Descriptor: This is the name of the item you are creating. Ensure it clearly represents the item for easy identification.

• Value: Enter the amount or price of the item here.

• Tax or Additional Flags:
  If you want to apply a tax or any other specific property to the item, you can do so by adding the appropriate flag.

  • For tax-related items, the tax details will automatically appear in the Purchase Editor once the flag is applied.

By following these steps, you can effectively configure custom items with precise details, including taxes or other required attributes.
