User Groups & Permissions
While a good booking system is one that is flexible, it's always a good idea to restrict certain functionality and views to a list of selected users.
YGB has a powerful venue permission system with fine-grained control over what your users can see and do.
The new way to do this is on the Org level you can access your org level by clicking the dark blue on the top right corner where your Venue and Org name located
Once clicked on it, it will take you to the Org level and you will be able to find Users&Permissions where you can set up the permissions and set new User groups as well
Super Users Only Should be the Venue Owners as they will have permission for everything on the system
If Click on "Add Item + " you can create new groups for the Organization or just for one Venue
Once you choose if it is for 1 Venue all Venue or the Organization itself then the window will expand
You can then add the Users you would like in that permission group and then you can choose what kind of permission they have simply by clicking on it.
The older system is still in place and it works if you would like to use that in Settings > Users where we have predefined settings for Owners/Fiance/Customer Service

- Owners
- Finance
- Customer Service
Important: There must always be one "Owner". Only "Owners" can assign other " Owners"
Adding a use to a permission group
- Click the Settings Cog icon at the top of the Sidebar on the right.
- Under Available settings select Users.
- Under each permission group, there is an Add user by email address field, insert the email address of the user you would like to add in this field, then click the email from the dropdown. The user will then be added.
Important: A user must have created an account before adding their email address to a permission group
