What is a Bay Option and why do we need it
For a bay to be bookable, it has to have a Bay Option. Think of this as the “product” that you’re buying. For example “60-minute session”.The Bay Option itself can have a price but doesn’t have to.
A booking made for a specific bay, at a specific time with a specific bay option.
A bay booking is the kind of booking made for a driving range, or indoor simulator. It has a start/end time and will have to take place on a specific bay. To be able to make a bay booking, we need to have a few things set up:

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create Bay Options:
(Likewise, for a Bay Option to be bookable it needs to have a Player Option. If you need to set up player options you can find a guide for it here)
Here is a list of what the boxes in the Bay creating window mean:(You will need to switch between tab as well)
- Insert Name of bay option.
- Insert Subtitle of bay option.
- Insert Price in Pence.

You can set a minimum price that customers will need to pay, even if the calculated base price falls below this amount. This ensures that the customer always pays at least the minimum price.
This feature is especially useful if you want to implement non-linear pricing within the booking system.
- Insert Display Price if you would like to show a price different from the default e.g. show a from and to price.
- Select a Duration.
- Select whether to hide the Duration Icon and time.
- Select whether the bay option is Available for customers. If No is selected then this option will only be available in the admin panel.
- Option Disabled if you would like to keep the setting but not be able to book
- Type it separates if that is a range or simulator
- Insert a Group name to group bay options together.
- Insert an amount of Balls.
- If you have a Ball dispenser integration, you can choose how many balls are dispensed when a customer scans a booking dispenser barcode by inserting a Barcode Split e.g. if you select 100 Balls and you select a Barcode Split of 2 then each barcode scan will dispense 50 balls.
- Bay Selection Layout Size of the layout
- Order Priority - Priority of the Bay options on the booking page
- Insert a Description for the bay option.
- Insert the Max Players of how many players can play it one time
- Tick Yes on the Usable With Balance if you would like to people be able to use tokens to book the bay
- Insert the Image you would like to display.
- For the Player Options, you have to add pre-defined player options to whom can book the Bay Options (
If you have a pricing schedule set up, you’ll need to decide how the player option price should be applied:

Per 30-minute slot – the player option price is added to each 30-minute interval of the booking.

Once per booking – the player option price is applied a single time for the entire booking duration.

- Reporting Category is how it will show on your reporting
- Flags are the ones how you can apply restriction taxes and different extras to a Bay Option
- Membership Requirements if you would like to tie the bay option to a membership only the people who got that type of membership will be able to see it
- Extra properties let you add extra functionalities to the bay option
- Click Create/Update.
Syncing Bay Options across multiple venues within an Organisation
If you would like to create the same Bay Option for another venue within your Organisation, you can click Sync to Venues next to the Save Changes button and then select the venue you would like to duplicate the Bay Option to.
